LabDraft collects minimal data to provide its services. When you use the Lab Manual Generator, General Practical Generator, or Code Studio, the text and options you provide (such as subject, title, aim, and code) are sent to third-party AI provider platforms (including Groq, Google Gemini, NVIDIA, and OpenRouter) for processing. Requests may be intelligently routed between available providers to ensure reliability. We do not store your generated content on our servers after the response is delivered.

We track anonymous usage statistics (number of practicals generated, sessions) using browser localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

To generate lab manuals and code output as requested
To improve site performance and user experience
To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party AI provider platforms (including Groq, Google Gemini, NVIDIA, and OpenRouter) to process AI generation requests. Your input text is sent to these provider services solely to generate your requested content, in accordance with their respective terms and privacy policies.

The Service is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard web analytics data such as IP addresses and page views.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

LabDraft does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage to store your personal usage counters (practicals generated, sessions) and sessionStorage for navigation state. This data never leaves your browser.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including Content Security Policy headers, rate limiting, input validation, and HTTPS encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

LabDraft is designed for students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.
